Key Account Manager - South

Main purpose of the role

To take full responsibility for management of corporate clients in ensuring we exceed the clients’ expectations, monitor our clients IT portals to ensure that these are fully Up to date with regards to PPM scheduling, responding to any reactive tasks uploaded and production of proactive recommendations to support our client whilst securing future revenue

 

Key responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Work closely with the operational teams to ensure that all tasks are scheduled on Glendale Live.
  • To support the mobilisation of corporate contracts and any additional sites as and when these are added to the contract.
  • Ensure that all contracts’ managers are fully aware of each site including the full specification site plans, any site-specific requirement, i.e., signing in process, access times.
  • Where services are to be completed by a sub-contractor, on board new sub-contractors and have them complete the sub-contractor pack.
  • Monitor Glendale live to ensure that all scheduled works are completed, if any remaining outstanding then communicate directly with the contracts manager / subcontractors to understand why and update the client’s portal with solution and return date
  • Drive the quality of service being provided across the corporate estate. Visit all sites and complete Quality audits. Drive a consistent level of service across the estate. Where possible attend on site review meetings with the client at site level.
  • To meet and exceed agreed sales objectives by generating maximum revenue growth from existing sites and the identification and development of new opportunities from new and existing Corporate Services clients, including the production of proactive service improvement plans for our clients, to support them in improving their estate.
  • To provide support to the Other Key Account Managers and Head of Key Accounts in achieving contractual SLAs where applicable.
  • Where required (client specific) Deliver and increase the winter gritting services

 

Main Duties

  • Daily monitoring of the client portal, ensuring that it is fully up to date with regards to PPM. Update sent to client if any deviation from schedule.
  • Process quote requests through CRM through the support of contract managers / sub-contractor and send quotes to clients in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that any VO works approved are allocated to the relevant contract manager / sub-contractor, and sub-contractors receive a PO.
  • Ensure that all invoicing details are fully uploaded onto the system in order that the works can be invoiced correctly as soon as they have been completed, including PO’s if required by client
  • Regular follow up to contract managers / sub-contractors until quotes received or until works completed if approved.
  • To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time
  • To produce and maintain through regular reviews, a Service Level Agreement for each site within specific Client’s remit.
  • Continue to develop Glendale Services, ensure that all potential opportunities for our clients are identified, reported and updated on SIP, quoting VO works to include minor civil works and landscaping works. Identifying biodiversity and sustainability projects
  • When required, support the Key Account Management team with the surveying, pricing and preparation of new contracts for your own and other Key Account Tenders, use experience to support with new bids development, providing written information relating to mobilisation activities, continuous improvements, sustainability etc
  • Support clients to achieve their specific targets, with regards to Sustainability, ESG, and CSR initiatives.
  • Work with the Finance team to follow up and reduce bad debt, where and when required produce reports to present to Client highlighting where POs are required and where payment has still to be received.
  • Assist in identifying cost savings which are applicable and beneficial to both clients and the company alike
