Salary range £28,500 - £40,000 OTE
This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing arboricultural services to private and public sector businesses.
Glendale Countryside’s dedicated arboriculture teams carry out a wide range of tree-related works for domestic, commercial & public sector clients, throughout London and the South East. We are looking for staff to join our award-winning arboriculture teams based in Surrey.
We can guarantee our staff have work every day through varying channels with Surrey County Council, Gatwick Airport, as well as a large proportion of housing association clients.
As well as core technical arboricultural tasks, services offered in this region include woodland and estates management, vegetation management, fencing, tree surgery, forestry and environmental engineering projects so there is a wide variety of experiences and skills to be gained.
Our Surrey depot based near Ripley is one of our flagship arboricultural bases, employing 10 qualified and experienced full-time arborists and 2 full-time trainee arborists. Working from 7 am - 3.30 pm 5 days per week. Regular paid overtime is also available outside of these hours.
Our arborists benefit from a vast array of tools and equipment, from high-end timberwolf chippers, Husqvarna and Stihl handheld equipment including battery equivalent tools, Mobile Elevated Platforms, 26 ton Hi-Ab timber lorries, remote-controlled stump grinders, telehandlers and 3.5t - 7.5t arb spec vehicles.

Strong team working ethic essential
The candidate will need to be flexible and reliable with a thorough, proven knowledge of all aspects of tree work: ground and aerial
Comfortable undertaking arboricultural duties including tree pruning, dismantling & felling
Nature of work requires the qualified candidates to hold the relevant industry qualifications such as NPTC certificates: 201(CS30), 202(CS31), 206/306(CS38) 308(CS39),. Possession of a valid CSCS card would be an advantage. A full, UK driving licence is desired, preferably with trailer towing up to 3,500kg.
Must have a positive attitude towards Health & Safety regulations
