Senior Team Leader | Guildford  

To support new contract growth with long-term contracted works. 

We seek a Senior Team Leader with industry aspirations to develop a career. 

This role reports directly to the contracts supervisor on day-to-day grounds maintenance activities carried out in the Surrey area. 

The role supports a hands-on attitude to continue our regional development. 

Main Duties:

  • Assisting the Contract Supervisor in the effective management of the programmed maintenance.

  • Oversee the programme of works and delivery through the Glendale Live field management system.

  • Motivate, support and monitor the performance of delivery teams across a wide geographical area.

  • Monitor staff timekeeping, holidays and sickness.

  • Proactively lead by example, especially in QHSE requirements.

  • Maintenance and enforcement of the security of vehicles, plant and equipment.

  • Enforcement of the quality and customer care ethics through the workforce and maintaining workforce discipline

  • Take responsibility for health and safety and actively participate in the maintenance and improvement of the overall Company Health and Safety culture.

  • Client meetings along with the ability to quantify and support new schemes' pricing. 

The Person

  • A natural leader who bonds and develops, capable of running scheduled works.

  • Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment.

  • Enthusiasm, strong leadership, and great communication skills.

  • Understand and subscribe to the importance of working as a team.

  • IT knowledge to deal with emails, systems and scheduling 

  • A full driving licence.

  • Previous experience in estimating work and delivering innovative customer solutions would be an advantage.
