Weekend Team Leader - Elmbridge & Kingston

Part Time, 16 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday) £16.00 per hour

Who are you?

• Proven experience in leading and supervising a small team.

• Experience in litter collection and removal operations.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good time management and organisational skills.

• Physically fit and able to undertake manual work.

• Full UK driving licence (essential).

A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You

• Lead and supervise a team of cleansing operatives, ensuring effective communication, motivation, and coordination of work activities.

• Ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary tools and materials to carry out their duties safely and effectively.

• Taking responsibility for the works on site, including timekeeping, productivity arrangements for breaks, dealing with members of the public, visitors to the site and deliveries.

• Proactively leading by example, motivating and guiding the team and maintaining workforce discipline.

• Operating and ensuring others operate company and hire vehicles, machinery and equipment with care and that daily checks and routine servicing are carried and properly recorded.

• To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required by the Supervisor
